Abstract

Aiming at drawbacks of traditional security system

a kind of intelligent wireless remote security monitoring system is designed. The system monitors and controls internal environment of the home dynamically through wireless sensor networks（WSNs）based on Zig Bee and external environment in real time by wireless video and audio.Embedded ARM and Linux operating system is used as server

PC and intelligent mobile phone as client

through Internet and 3G network

functions of realtime monitoring of PC and intelligent cell phone and alarms by short message automatically are realized. The test shows that the system is stable and effective. It provides a practical and feasible scheme for home security.
