Abstract

In practical applications of wireless sensor networks

the multicast technology can meet the requirements of network resources very well

but other factors such as limited energy

make it difficult to design an effective multicast routing for wireless sensor networks. For wireless sensor networks nodes in the energy constraints

tree multicast routing protocol is proposed based on energy balance for wireless sensor networks energy balance tree multicast routing（EBTMR）protocol. The protocol fully take into account the energy consumption of nodes in the network elements and nodes residual energy. To make the nodes which have more energy act as a multicast transmission of the node to take on more tasks

and optimize the data flow routing

and to balance energy consumption in wireless sensor networks nodes in order to extend the network lifetime.Simulation results show that EBTMR is effective.
