Abstract

As one of the important technology nowadays

wireless sensor networks（ WSNs） is very promising in agricultural production. Using irrigation system as a specific application scenario

a design scheme for agricultural application based on WSNs is proposed. This scheme includes architectural design

hardware design and software design of irrigation system. Routing recovery algorithm for WSNs to solve problem of broken routing link

which is caused by node failure

is designed. Simulation of routing recovery algorithm is carried out. Simulation result indicates that the amount of packages under routing recovery algorithm is less than under dynamic source routing（ DSR）

and it can reduce energy consumption of node effectively.
