Traditional Smith predictor solves control problem of forward path big time lag system

but not suitable for the systems contain pure time-delay in feedback path. Put forward an improved Smith predictive control method which overcome negative influence of large delay feedback path on stability of control system. Results of simulation show that this method can effectively set-off negative influence of large delay co-existed in forward path and feedback path on stability of control system has remarkable positive effect on control processes.
