Aiming at problem that paratroopers parachute landing in large area and dispersed cause the difficulty of unified command
a wireless sensor networks based on Zig Bee is designed for position monitoring. Each nodes of the system uses XBee Pro as core
paratroopers’handheld terminal uses SIRF Ⅲ GPS module to receive GPS signal
and through ARM9 processor to resolve GPS signal to get the current position coordinates
time
altitude and other information
and these information is transmitted to the command center computers through Zig Bee networks.Experimental results show that command center can real-time display paratroopers position information on map
meanwhile the command center can real-time quickly make decisions according to battlefield situation and timely send the decision to each paratroopers’terminal to realize the purpose of unified command.
