A driving behavior and vehicle motion monitoring system is developed to realize the perception of the driver maneuvers
the real-time monitoring of vehicle 6 degree of freedom motion state parameters and vehicle running speed based on micro inertial measurement unit(MIMU)
which is designed by MEMS inertial sensors
and GPS for driver surveillance in intelligent vehicle assistant driving systems.Type selection
design
installation and layout of MEMS sensors are introduced. The vehicle road test results show that the system perceives well in the driver depresses the brake pedal
clutch pedal
and maneuvers transform stalls. The theoretical identification curve of the lateral acceleration and steering angle matches well with vehicle test on the trend. The system provides a theoretical basis and technical support for the development of driver maneuvers automatic identification system
also provides an important theoretical basis and engineering applications guidance to improve the vehicle driving and safety.
