Forced oscillation technique（FOT） has been applied more and more to the study of respiratory system mechanics.In order to detect the clinical prospect of this new FOT device

an experiment is designed to examine asthmatic and healthy people to validate its possibility to help asthma diagnosing.5 asthmatic people and 5 healthy people are recruited.The results indicate there are significant differences between the respiratory system resistance of two groups

and show the utilization potentiality of this new device to the diagnosis of asthma.
