Information fusion is an effective way to solve the problem of the limitation of energy and bandwidth of wireless sensor networks（WSNs）.A multi-stage mixed spatio-temporal architecture model for wireless sensor networks information fusion is presented.In this architecture

the data that is monitored by the nodes far from the Sink node is fused in time.The data that is monitored by the nodes close to the Sink node is fused in time and spatial on Sink node.The fusion results of two kinds of nodes is fused in space for the overall network on Sink node.Under this model

a multi-stage fusion algorithm is given based on the theory of DS evidence.The data analysis shows that the method can reduce power consumption of node and prolong the network lifetime.
