Cough is a common symptom of some diseases.Aiming at the current shortage of multi-parameter wireless monitoring systems which ignore the valuable parameter

cough signal detection system based on wireless sensor networks is designed.The hardware and software platform of the crucial nodes is proposed by suing the microcontroller of the SPCE061A and CC2430 module.The data is processed by the short-time energy combined with zero-crossing ratio.Experimental results show the system run well for the cough sound signals real-time collection and effective transmission.The detection accuracy of cough signals achieves above 90%.
