During online monitoring using ultrasonic wave for partial discharge of generator stator winding
the effect of online monitoring will be affected by the selection of ultrasonic sensor
the attenuation and time delay of ultrasonic wave signal. The noise spectrum of the generator in normal operation and the partial discharge ultrasonic signal spectrum are compared and analyzed;and the stator model is established. The sound pressure distribution diagram during the ultrasonic wave propagation will be obtained through simulation experiment. The attenuation and time delay of ultrasonic signals propagation are analyzed and studied by the experimental detection. The selection basis of the ultrasonic sensor is put forward. And it laid the foundation for the future studies on the features of ultrasonic wave propagation and the partial discharge location.
