In order to solve the problem of the identity card counterfeit forgery or counterfeiting

a novel identity card verification system is designed based on fingerprint recognition technology. The fingerprint sensor FPC1011C is used to collect fingerprint in the system. The embedded ARM11 microprocessor S3C6410 is used to realize the fingerprint image preprocessing. The web server and database server is used to realize the identity verification. The experiment results show that the design scheme is feasible. The system can overcome the shortcomings of traditional verification system and can avoid the identity card counterfeit forgery or counterfeiting. The study has an expansive application prospect.
