as a traditional routing protocol in wireless sensor networks
has some disadvantages
including uneven distribution of cluster heads and great energy consumption to communicate with base station in one hop.According to these disadvantages
an energy-efficient uniform tree-clustering routing(EUCR) protocol is proposed.In EUCR
a cluster head is selected
based on the product of received signal strength by node and its remained energy and network connectivity.Calculation of suitable distance between cluster heads made even cluster distribution in network.Optimizing routing tree of cluster heads is established based on hop numbers and its remained energy.EUCR is simulated in OMNeT++.The results show that compared with LEACH
EUCR makes cluster distribution more even
enhances the degree of load balancing
saves energy and prolongs the lifetime of network.
