Relatively a small quantity of beacons can be set underwater
so unknown nodes can be used for improving localization precision.By measuring RTOF
the distance between beacons and unknown nodes can be used to limit the position region of the unknown nodes. The distance between two unknown neighbour nodes is iteratively used to refine the node’s position.Cooperative localization method does not need support of additional device.Simulation results show that the localization precision is satisfied
and the localization error is reduced compared with the traditional beacon based algorithm.
