A novel amperometric choline biosensor is fabricated with choline oxidase(ChOx)immobilized on the surface of a class II hydrophobin modified gold electrode. The electrochemistry characteristics of sensor have been analyzed in detail and the stability of HFBI self-assembled film at different pH was investigated. Results showed that the sensor offered a wide linear range from 0.01 to 1 mmol/L
high sensitivity of 2184.06 nA·mmol·L-1·cm-2
rapid response time within 6 s and detection limit of 0.01 mmol/L choline(signal-to-noise ratio=3).The HFBI self-assembled film modified electrode kept high electroactivity of immobilization ChOx and well interference immunity and long lifetime. This work provided a promising new immobilization matrix with high biocompatibility and adequate electroactivity for further research on biosensing and other surface functionalized.
