Vibration noise is a very common phenomenon during overpressure test by using shock wave.Especially during free-field test
it is a major part of errors for testing equipment system.Analyzes the generation of vibration noise under impulsive load for the respect of the force on the equipment and the performance of pressure sensor. The features of the wave form of noises in the shock response is briefly described. Two methods of reducing vibration noises are proposed. One is to optimize the mechanical structure of the testing equipment
and rationally design the vibration isolator.Another is to properly use wavelet analysis to reduce noises during signal processing. Moreover
both methods have been inspected and verified through experiments.
