A novel hypertension therapeutic system using abdominal-bandage micro-breathing sensor for human respiratory signal detection is developed on the basis of slow-breath training mechanism. The system takes single-chip microcomputer AT89C51 as core processor that communicates with PC via full-speed interface chip PDIUSBD12 and is programmed by Microsoft Visual C++6.0 according to slow-breath guided algorithm in which the respiratory signal serves as feedback physiological parameter. The inhalation and exhalation of the subject is directed by straightforward music signal. The primary experiment indicates that the system instructs the subject to perform slow-breath training and is responsible for the evident decrease in blood pressure.
