The critical technology related to the practicality of micro-channel measurement system for red blood cell(RBC)deformability is investigated
in terms of miniaturization
integration
especially the normative and convenient operation. Two improvements are made on the system. The original silicon chip and the flow paths are packaged in a single chip by the use of PDMS to realize the plug and play function. The injection pump is used for the sampling and flow driving to improve the stability of sample injection. The preliminary experiment results show that the system in the constant flow driving mode is more stable
more suitable to simulate the Human capillary microcirculation environment and more reliable for analysis of red blood cell deformability.
