Compared with conventional air data sensing system
FADS-INS has greater advantages in measuring accuracy when the aircraft flights in steady-state flight condition. But due to the cross-wind
atmospheric disturbance and a greater impact on noise
the system will make the decline in accuracy in high angle-of-attack and high rate of change of angle of attack flight condition
it can’t meet the requirement. In response to this problem
the use of complementary filters to process signals of FADS and INS system separately is proposed and the FADS/INS is reused to measure the angle of attack and sideslip angle in the maneuver flight condition.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that a high measurement precision of the angle of attack and sideslip angle can be got both in steady-state and maneuver flight condition by using this filtering technology.
