The development of detection systems for the study of ultraweak photon emission at room temperature is discussed. In order to reduce noise
many kinds of meathods are adopted. The high-sensitivity and low dark current PMT is used to be the key detector. The measurement box has high SNR(signal-to-noise) and measurement environment stability. The multi-wavelengh stimulating light source is designed for extra-weak bioluminescence from living cells and tissues. The mean of background noise of the system is 43.5 CPS at room temperature 11.5 ℃.The system has high SNR and good stability. It can be used for studying ultraweak cell and tissue radiation at room temperature.
