The principle of engine gas path electrostatic monitoring technology is analyzed
research on sensitivity distribution and frequency response of key device of the monitoring system—electrostatic sensor is made.Numerical simulation and curve fitting are applied to acquire sensitivity distribution function
then frequency response function is deduced. The effect of various sensor radius and particle moving velocity on sensitivity distribution and frequency response is analyzed.Theoretic analysis and experimental results show the electrostatic sensor acts as a low-pass filter in spatial domain and time domain
and sensor with larger radius has characteristics of higher sensitivity and wider frequency range in spatial domain and time domain. The higher speed of particle moving
