Ion mobility spectrometry(IMS) is used for the detection of monoethanolamine(MEA) vapor
and it has the advantages of high speed
low detection limit. The MEA vapor at different volume fraction is measured
the results show that the linear response characteristic is achieved for low volume fraction MEA;the detection period is shortened at a higher operating temperature of drift tube.In addition
the effects of the interference compounds present in a closed atmosphere at permissible volume fraction limit on the detections are slight.
