High-performance blackbody radiation source is the key equipment for high precision reproduction of radiation temperature.Integrated emissivity of blackbody cavity numerically simulated by finite volume method(FVM)has a good agreement with the result computed by Monte-Carlo method(MCM).Moreover
the FVM can predict the trend of integrated emissivity more accurately than MCM.Based on design of experiment with response surface method
key factors and their interactions of a cylindro-conical cavity
such as length-to-diameter ratio L/D
aperture diameter to cylinder diameter ratio D
a
/D
co
ne angle θ
and relative temperature difference on the cavity wall ΔT
are analyzed for integrated emissivity ε
e
and its distribution uniformity on aperture η.The results show that ΔT is the most significant factor
then are D
a
/D and L/D(p
<
0.05)
and θ has less influence on ε
e
.The η decreases linearly with the increase of ε
e
means more uniform distribution of ε
e
on aperture.Research results provide references for the manufacture and study on high-performance blackbody radiation source.
