Abstract
The geographical layout of the nodes in wireless sensor networks( WSNs) affects its speed of response to forest fires. Comparing to flat land
slope land is more complex in affecting the response speed. The concept of topological rotation is proposed. And Monte Carlo experiments are employed to determine the relationship between topological rotation angle and average time of response to forest fires and thus to find the optimal topological rotation angle for lands with different slopes. All this work provides detailed references for selecting node layout of WSNs in slope forest land.
