heavy metal ions may seriously endanger human health and life safety.Rapid detection and real-time monitoring of water pollutant are important for protecting ecological environment and ensuring people’s life and health.Chemically modified electrode(CME)is a hot topic in the research field of electrochemical sensors.Owing to the fast detection speed
low cost with ease for operation and integration
CME has shown great potentials for achieving in situ real-time and dynamic monitoring of heavy metal ions in many fields such as industrial site and smart home. This paper reviews the research progress of chemically modified electrode technology for rapid detection of heavy metal ions
with the focus on CME design theory and fabrication methods.Research on the reliability and environmental adaptability of CME are discussed and prospected.
