In order to accurately measure the pressure of oil and gas pipeline and environmental temperature
a structure of fiber Bragg grating( FBG) sensor discriminating measurement of temperature and pressure based on the combination of C-shaped elastic tube and cantilever beams is put forward. The cantilever beam consists of a rectangular beam and a triangular beam. The free end of the C-shaped elastic tube is closely connected with the free end of the triangular beam. FBG 1 and FBG 2 are pasted to the lower bottom of the rectangular beam and the triangular beam
respectively
along the axis direction. FBG1 only senses temperature change of environmental temperature
FBG 2 senses environmental temperature and oil pressure change at the same time. The linear relationship between the peak wavelength shift of FBG1 and temperature
the peak wavelength shift of FBG 2 and temperature and pressure
is analyzed respectively. The experimental results show that the pressure response sensitivity coefficient of the sensor is 0. 2274 nm/MPa
the temperature response sensitivity coefficient is0. 0306 nm/℃ . The pressure and temperature response sensitivity coefficients are 72 times and 3 times of those of the bare FBG
respectively. The pressure precision is 0. 005 MPa and temperature precision is 0. 04 ℃ of the sensor with oil pressure range 0 ~ 10 MPa and environmental temperature within 100 ℃ .
