Relationship between the rectification effect and structural parameters of single conical nanopores is studied. The rectification ratio of single-conical nanopore is closely related to the concentration of KCl solution. When the concentration changes within 0. 01 ~ 1 000 mol/m~3
the rectification ratio increases firstly and then decreases
reaching the maximum at the concentration of 0. 1 mol/m~3( R
f
<
/sub>0. 1). With the increase of the length of nanopore
the rectification ratio of the single conical nanopore increases gradually when the concentration is 0. 1 mol/m~3. R
f
<
/sub>0. 1 increases firstly and then d
ecreases as the increase of nanopore tip diameter in 25 ~ 400 nm.R
f
<
/sub>0. 1 decreases with the increase of the half conical angle from 6° to 24°.
