Aiming at the failure of zirconia oxygen sensor in a large number of impact tests
improved design of structure of sensor is carried out to ensure that the zirconia oxygen sensor can work safely and reliably under the test condition of 1 200 gn. The results of the finite element simulation analysis show that the three axial stresses of the sensor after the improvement of the structure in the impact test are significantly lower than those before the improvement of the structure
and the reduction range is about 50 %; through the verification of the test samples
it is shown that the magnitude of the probe part can be reduced to less than 500 gn
which is about 50 % lower than that before the improvement of the structure. Through the finite element simulation and experimental verification
it shows that the improved structure of the sensor has a good damping and buffering effect
and the impact resistance of the product is improved.
