Aiming at the characteristics of strong nonlinear coupling of input and output of the six-axis acceleration sensor
the transfer characteristics between the strain of the main components and the input are studied based on parallel mechanism. The forward dynamics equation of the system is established by Newton-Euler method
and the analytic function between the six input quantities and the axial force of 12 branched chains is derived. The mapping relationship between the axial force and the strain of the main components of the sensor is established through finite element analysis. Research results show that the strains of the branched chain
sub-plates and outer casings satisfy the linear superposition relationship
manifested as the residual ratio of the deformation of the three components are less than 0. 06 %. The strain of the locking plate and the pre-tightening screw does not satisfy the linear superposition relationship. The residual ratios of the deformation of the locking plate and the pretightening screw are 6. 92 % and 7. 80 %
respectively. The above conclusions lay a theoretical foundation for the structural optimization of the six-axis acceleration sensor and the determination of the working range.
