Aiming at the problem that most of existing plantar pressure data acquisition systems are expensive and subjected to site and environment constraints
a kind of wearable human gait analysis system based on plantar pressure sensor is designed. Pressure insoles with eight piezoresistive sensors are used to obtain the dynamic response of pressure signals. A resistance-voltage conversion module is designed to convert resistance signal into voltage signal. The data is transceived using WiFi module. To verify the reliability and accuracy of the system
the data of walking
running and squatting are collected and analyzed. The experimental results show that the pressure sensing system can effectively capture the pressure changes on different parts of foot for human gait analysis.
