In order to overcome the deficiency of traditional oxidation-reduction potential（ORP） electrode loss and maintenance cost

a new kind of pH/Pt composite ORP electrode is introduced

which is prepared by using pH electrode as reference electrode and the platinum ring electrode is used as the working electrode. Based on the integrated test and control platform

the electrode signal acquisition and automatic titration procedures are designed separately. Thus

it provides a simple and fast research platform for the application performance of the electrode.The problems of electrode property

solution acidity

and repeatability are discussed. Experimental results show that the novel ORP electrode method has a good response to the potential change of redox system

and the measured values are steady. The electrode has the characteristics of fast response

good repeatability and maintenance-free. This electrode has a good prospect of online application.
