The symmetrical micro-clamp can easily destroy the micro-clamp due to the uneven force exerted on the left and right fingers
while the non-symmetrical micro-clamp can not completely close the left and right fingers in the y-axis direction due to parasitic displacement. The traditional micro-clamp uses an external parallel four-bar mechanism to complete the parallel clamping of the clamp finger. To solve the above problems
an asymmetric piezoelectric micro-clamp based on composite flexure hinges is designed. The input and output ends restrained modes of the micro-clamp are adopted to ensure parallel clamping while greatly reducing parasitic displacement.Firstly
the stiffness relationship and displacement amplification ratio of the micro-clamp hinge are deduced through theoretical calculation; secondly
the model size is optimized by finite element method and the model performance is simulated and analyzed; finally
the relationship between input force and clamping force is found by pasting strain gauge. The micro-clamp has compact structure
sensitive response
translatable and low parasitic displacement. The maximum output displacement of the clamp finger is 160. 97 μm when there is no clamp at the maximum voltage of 150 V. When the clamping diameter is 0. 18 mm
