A novel 3D Hall joysitck design scheme is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of the existing Hall joysitck design with analog output
low resolution and large power consumption. The 3D magnetometer and the micro controller unit( MCU) system are used to complete the three-dimensional positioning of the Hall joystick. At the same time
the remote real-time control of the robot arm is realized through the wireless communication module. The analysis results of the sampled data show that the designed 3D Hall joystick can directly output 16 bit magnetic induction intensity data
which improves the angular resolution while reducing the complexity of the circuit. The angular resolution can reach 5. 29 × 10
-3
( °) in the horizontal direction and 6. 4 ×
10
-3
( °) in the vertical direction. Under the 5V power supply
the average current of the joystick and its control module is 10 mA
