Aiming at the problem of high-precision three-dimensional( 3D) reconstruction of high-speed rail car body surface
a 3D reconstruction of rail body surface and defect detection method based on line structure light scanning is proposed. 3D data acquisition is performed on the surface of the rail body by a plurality of line structured light sensors mounted on the array type contour camera bracket. The point cloud data splicing technology and the data deduplication principle are used to process the data collected by multi-cameras. At the same time
the error compensation method based on the fixed laser and the light ruler is designed to improve the precision of 3D reconstruction. After that
extract the defects of the specified size range and output the point cloud data. Finally
the 3D reconstruction and the beat analysis of the defect point detection process are performed. The experimental results show that the method can achieve higher precision in the depth direction of the car body
and the time required for detection is shorter
which meets the requirements of the surface defect detection of the high-speed rail car body.
