A wearable physiological signal acquisition system based on multiwalled carbon nanotube( MWCNT)and viscous PDMS composite dry electrodes is developed. The dry electrode body is made of polyimide( PI)-copper-polyimide sandwich structure and an adhesive PDMS coating with MWCNT
which can directly adhere to the epidermis
to collect physiological signals
and provide good contact performance. The sampling system includes the transmitting end and the receiving end
and uses the ADS1299 integrated analog front-end for acquisition and analog-digital conversion( ADC). The signal transmission uses Bluetooth protocol and the overall size of the transmitting end is 45 mm × 20 mm × 10 mm. The system is powered by lithium battery. The data can be directly received by MATLAB program and analyzed. The signal quality acquired by the CNT/a PDMS electrode is comparable to that obtained by conventional wet electrode.
