Aiming at problems of design defects in current sleep detection system and inaccurate respiratory detection during sleep

a sleep detection system based on ceramic piezoelectric sensors is designed and a sleep detection algorithm is proposed to detect respiratory and turn-over times. The piezoelectric sensors are allocated under the latex mattress and collects the piezoelectric signal during sleep

then using channel selection algorithm breathing algorithm

and turn-over disthinguish compensation algorithm to obtain respiration rate and turn-over frequency in period. The experimental results show that breathing discriminant accuracy of the system is up to96 %

turn-over detection accuracy is up to 95. 5 %

and the system has better detection comfort.
