Aiming at the problem that there are a lot of mismatched points in binocular 3D reconstruction with feature matching
a jittering method is proposed for screening matching points by the jittering of cameras. Images are taken by binocular camera at first
and the left and right cameras are continuously moved
and the images are taken in this process
then the images after moving are used for screening the matching feature points of the previous images. Simulations on a jittering algorithm are done under typical utility conditions according to design requirements of the jittering method. Simulation results show that as long as the movement clearly changes the base plane orientation of the binocular images under the polar geometry condition
the ratio of the correct matching points can be significantly improved by the algorithm. This simulation experiments provide a reference criterion for the design of camera moving path in the jittering method.
