A new type of dual-source heat pipe air conditioning system is researched and fabricated. The influence of the factors such as liquid filling rate
inclination
height difference and temperature difference on heat transfer performance of dual-source heat pipe is studied. The relationship between the factors and the refrigeration coefficient of the air conditioning system is obtained
and the energy saving experiment is carried out through transformation of the dual-source heat pipe air-conditioner in communication room. Experimental results show that the heat pipe can reach the optimal working state in the range of 100 % ~ 125 %. Inclination of 10° ~ 12° is the best angle of heat pipe system. The height difference 1 000 ~ 1 100 mm is the optimal height difference of the heat pipe system; with the increase of temperature difference
heat transfer per unit area of double source heat pipe air conditioning system and energy efficiency ratio( EER) are increasing
when the temperature difference is 15 ℃than temperature difference is 5 ℃
it is increased about 106 %. Compared with conventional air conditioning system
energy saving rate of combined utilization of two sets of refrigeration systems of dual-source heat pipe air conditioning system and conventional air conditioning system is 40. 8 %.
