An air-conditioning system which is distributed multi-small-capacity compressor in different regions for bus is designed. Integrated management are carried out with a camera on different areas of the carriage. Methods for compressor controlling by number of different passengers in different regions. A statistical method for occupant number is analyzed based on face recognition. Pulse-width modulation（ PWM） control model of air conditioning compressor is established. Fuzzy neural network algorithm is used to control the temperature.High temperature tests are carried out on buses which equipped with air-conditioning system. The result shows that the air conditioner works well and meets the thermal comfort evaluation index of human body

and achieves the desired results.
