Current research on physical layer algorithm for body area network（ BAN） is mainly related to selfdesigned physical layer schemes. Based on physical layer specifications in IEEE 802. 15. 6 standard for BAN

related algorithms for baseband receiving end are designed and simulated. Because of the burstiness of BAN packets

packet detection scheme is first designed based on preamble sequence

to obtain initial time of data and coarse timing synchronization. Frequency offset estimation and frequency compensation are carried out to suppress influence of frequency offset. Accurate symbol timing synchronization is realized by using extension sequence.Simulation result show that designed scheme has good performance of demodulation.
