A new metamaterial microfluidic sensor which works in GHz band is proposed
it is used for highresolution of solution with different complex permittivity and sensitivity reaches 4. 382 mm / RIU. It has characteristic of simple structure
convenient detection less in sample size for detection. When sample solution is passing through channel
original resonance frequency of metamaterials unit and peak attenuation change
dielectric properties of liquid samples can be obtained by establishing relations between resonant characteristics and complex permittivity. By equivalent circuit analysis
sensor is optimized to make the sensor can simultaneously use resonant frequency and peak attenuation as index to carry out discrimination of sample solution.
