Yacht condition remote monitoring system is designed to overcome defect of present management mode for yacht
so owners can be informed of the yacht condition. Scheme of system constitution is presented based on wireless communication networking technology and sensor technology; in order to obtain essential condition parameters of yacht
such as rotational speed of engines and fuel consumption
single point virtual vibration power( SPVVP) is defined from the voltage signals by vibration sensors mounted on the engines of the yacht
and correspondence between rotation speed and SPVVP is fitted through cubic spline interpolation. Fuel consumption coefficient is introduced to represent corresponding relationship between fuel consumption and rotational speed.yacht condition monitoring experiment is performed. Experimental results show that yacht condition remote monitoring system can realize yacht condition parameters and transmit alarm information in some sudden cases
which demonstrates the system has high practical value.
