Magnetoelastic( ME) sensor has great application prospects in non-destructive detection
in situ and in vivo analysis due to its wireless and passive features. A miniaturized detection system for ME sensor based on MSP430 platform is designed through analysis on detection principle of ME sensor. The system uses MSP430 as control core and uses permanent magnets as bias magnetic field
it consists of AC excitation unit
RMS detection unit
AD sampling unit and communicate with the upper PC through RS—232. Experimental results indicate that the characteristics of ME sensor can be detected by the system conveniently and rapidly
which characterized by good stability
high integration
low power consumption. The system also can meet the accurate detection requirements of ME sensor in different states and environments.
