Non-dispersive infrared( NDIR) is a kind of detection methods for gas concentration based on the principle that gas selectively absorbs infrared light. NDIR method is used to develop a sensor system for detection of vehicle exhaust under air environment. In this sensor system
multi-window infrared sensors are integrated
and v-support vector regression( v-SVR) is introduced for sensor modeling. The experimental results show that this sensor system has the characteristics including high measurement precision
high stability
and portable
which can meet the demands of measurement and analysis of vehicle exhaust.
