Aiming at problem that indoor environmental factors have great effect on localization result

a method of adaptive piecewise curve fitting based on received signal strength indication（ RSSI） is proposed. Raw RSSI data are preprocessed by Gaussian filtering

and signal propagation model is established by adaptive piecewise curve fitting

coordinates of unknown nodes is calculated by the least square method. Experimental result shows that the proposed algorithm has higher localization precision

more stable and reliable localization result and can adapt to different indoor environments.
