To measure viscosity of liquid

a kind of fiber Bragg grating（ FBG） viscometer based on rotary with high sensitivity and anti-interference is designed

researched and fabricated. The sensor of viscometer is made up of elastic hollow cylinder and stator

FBG is sticked in the inner wall of elastic hollow cylinder. By calculation

the sensitivity of viscometer is obtained

which is 80 pm /（ Pa·s）. Experiments with honey and cooking oil show that the average of viscosity is 10. 15 Pa · s

and 6. 6 Pa · s

when in the same rotation speed with 120 rad / min.Experimental results show that the measuring results of rotary FBG viscometer is within reasonable limits.
