PEGASIS-improved（ PEGASIS-I） protocol based on fan is to solve the shortcoming of communication of long-delay

network maintenance cost and "long chain"between nodes in PEGASIS protocol

but energy load of root node is too large and it is easy to death in this protocol. In order to overcome this weakness

propose a new protocol based on"hot"node rotation on basis of PEGASIS-I protocol

new protocol designs mechanism of"hot"node rotation and mechanism of "similar"node group choose one to delivery. When non-leaf node in network consumes too much energy

the mechanism of "hot"node rotation turn it into leaf node to prevent it premature death. Mechanism of "similar"node group choose one delivery can significantly reduce network traffic

further extend network survival time. Matlab simulation shows that compared with PEGASIS-I protocol

the new protocol effectively prolong network survival time.
