an exclusive heat flow probe system

which are equipped on deep-sea vehicle

is designed; this probe system embeds with a microprocessor chip that has ultra-strong functions of A /D conversion

five high precision thermistors are managed by time-sharing processing sampling mechanism and the corresponding data are stored in data storage units

the beginning and the end of the entire procedures are decided by the clock monitored by the microprocessors; the RS—485 communication protocol is utilized between the probe and the upper machine. This probe system has successfully been trailed on the vessel"Ocean IV"

vessel"Ocean VI"and deep-sea submarine"Jiaolong"

having obtained a lot of valuable data of heat flow in China

the test accuracy reaches 0. 01℃ and the resolution ratio reaches 0. 005 ℃

this probe system is proved to be widely used in the heat flow measurement programs in China in the future.
