A highly sensitive and well-conformable flexible wearable sensor based on polyvinylidene fluoride/multi-walled carbon nanotube (PVDF/MWNT) is developed to address the issues of poor conformal adhesion to skin
poor stability
and mutual constraints between stretchability and sensitivity in flexible sensors.MWNT is doped into PVDF solution to enhance the formation of β-phase and electrical output in PVDF nanofibers
and PVDF/MWNT composite films are prepared using electrospinning technology. Subsequently
the electrode layer is formed using vacuum magnetron sputtering process
and the flexible sensor is constructed through steps including polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)encapsulation.Experimental results show that the Young’s modulus of the sensor is 10.19MPa
its sensitivity reaches 0.21mV/με
and it has good stability (1500 tensile cycles)
demonstrating excellent mechanical stability and electrical repeatability. At the same time
the feasibility of the sensor in detecting weak blinking signals and jumping motion signals is verified. It has broad application prospects in the fields of wearable and human-computer interaction.
