Vibrating wire sensors are widely used in the field of building monitoring. In particular
single-coil vibrating wire sensors are popular due to their simple design. However
when it is used for long-distance monitoring
sensors may suffer from the problem of reduction of output signal amplitude due to the influence of long distance cables. To address this issue
the structure of single-coil vibrating wire sensors is improved
and a dual-coil signal-enhanced vibrating wire sensor is designed. The feasibility of this design structure is verified through modeling using COMSOL software.Furthermore
through the fabrication and testing of actual sensor prototypes
comparative experiments are conducted. The experimental results show that this scheme can effectively enhance the signal strength of the sensors.
