In order to achieve highy-sensitive detection of magnetic field and refractive index
a magnetic field sensor based on photonic crystal fiber(PCF)is proposed
in which gold nanowires are used as surface plasmon polarization material to achieve more suitable coupling characteristics.Magnetic fluid is employed as the analyte
and the surface plasmon resonance(SPR) technology is realized through the combined effect of the gold nanowires and the magnetic fluid. The influence of the sensor structural parameters on the sensing performance is investigated by the finite element method
and the sensor structure parameters are optimized. The results show that the maximum magnetic field sensitivity of the sensor reaches 806pm/Oe at 120Oe.Additionally
in terms of refractive index sensing
the maximum wavelength sensitivity achieved is 36667nm/RIU.Due to its high sensitivity and stable response to external magnetic field
the proposed SPR-PCF magnetic field sensor demonstrates excellent performance.
